He's not my mechanic. That's why I left. But I don't work on my own car; I don't even own a wrench, nor do I want to. That's why I come here for guidance, :-) I'm still curious to know, though. I want to understand enough to at least have some understanding of what mechanics are talking about. Why, then, do "tensioner, waterpump, seals and etc." require more attention than on a N/A? I'm trying to understand what about the turbo makes these parts wear quicker. However, from years of reading here, it is my understanding that the water pump is changed as an adjunct to the timing belt change, not vice versa. Thank you, Vicki
